1. Cabinet type indoor installation, frame type general outdoor installation;

2. The height of the installation and operation site should be taken as 1000 meters, and orders should be negotiated for a location of 1000 meters;

3. The ambient air temperature at the installation and operation site is -251 to+45 degrees Celsius for indoor devices and -40 to+45 degrees Celsius for outdoor devices;

4. The installation and operation location should be free from severe mechanical vibration, corrosive gases and vapors, and conductive explosive dust;

The network or bus voltage connected to the installation site should not be affected by high-order harmonic sources, and the voltage waveform distortion rate and harmonic content should not exceed the provisions of GB/T14549-93 "Voltage Quality, Harmonics of Public Power Grid".

 

 

1. The device is cabinet type structure or frame type structure, which can manually switch on and off the capacitor bank, and can also be equipped with voltage reactive automatic controller to automatically switch on and off the capacitor bank.

 

2. The cabinet structure device consists of an incoming isolation switch cabinet, a series reactor cabinet, a shunt capacitor cabinet and a connected bus bar. The number of capacitor cabinets can be determined according to the compensation capacity and the setting scheme. Generally, it is composed of multiple cabinets. The cabinet is made of high quality cold rolled steel plate

Bending welding or apply aluminum zinc plate bending assembled. The protection level of cabinet shall reach IP20.

 

3. Structure layout: when the rated capacity of a single capacitor is 30-100 KKW, the capacitor bank shall be three-layer (single) and double-row structure; when the rated capacity is more than 100 KKW, it shall be two-layer (single) and double-row structure; when the rated capacity is more than 200 KKW, it shall be single-layer (single) and double-row structure. Its external structure view is shown in Figure 1 to Figure 8.

 

4. Frame structure device consists of isolating switch frame, dry type hollow reactor, shunt capacitor frame and fence, etc. Including zinc oxide arrester, shunt capacitor, single protection fuse, fully sealed discharge coil, pillar insulator, copper (aluminum) bus bar and metal frame, etc.

The capacitor bank is mounted on the metal frame, and the connecting bus and the post insulator are combined into a primary circuit according to the preset connection mode.

The capacitor bank frame is usually assembled, which is firm, stable and steel saving, and convenient for installation and transportation.

Capacitor installation form can be divided into single row three layer, double row single layer and double layer double row structure.

Each phase capacitor is usually connected in parallel and then in series. Metal frame surface hot-dip galvanized or plastic spray treatment.

Fences (1.8m high) can be installed around the whole device as required. The fence surface is sprayed with plastic. Frame material is made of high quality profile. See Figure 11 - Figure 17 for a view of its structure.

 

5. Selection of series reactor

Dry core reactor is generally used for series reactor installed on the neutral side; Installed in the power supply side of the series reactor is generally used in the air core reactor, three-phase stacking, can also be product type installation.

 

6. Secondary Protection and Control

The capacitor bank adopts microcomputer capacitor protection monitoring device, mounted on the front high voltage switch cabinet, with manual and remote automatic control two control modes, and "manual" and "remote automatic" interlock.

For the capacitor banks that need automatic switching control, voltage reactive automatic control device or power factor controller is used to automatically switch the capacitor banks through sampling, logic analysis and command switching. The controller carries RS232 or RS485 communication interface, which can be networked with other monitoring equipment in the substation to form the substation integrated automation system, so as to meet the requirements of unattended or less attended substation and centralized control and other operation and management modes.

 

7. Lockout requirements

The incoming cabinet is provided with grounding switch and circuit breaker mechanical chain and electrical chain, each group of capacitors is provided with electromagnetic lock and door lock. Can play a role in safety protection. When all cabinet doors are not closed under the condition of not allowed to close or open the door at will when running, the main switch immediately trip; For frame construction, the user must install mechanically coded locks on the isolating switch operating mechanism and fence door in the capacitor unit to form an error-proof latch with the front circuit breaker. The fence door must be closed and locked before operation, and cannot be opened during operation. Prevent all kinds of misoperation.
